National Rifle Association endorses Rep. Linda Harper Brown
Irving, TX --- Today the National Rifle Association (NRA) announced their re-election endorsement of Representative Linda Harper Brown for Texas House District 105 in the 2012 election cycle. The NRA represents 270,000 members in Texas, 1,100 of which reside within District 105.
"As well as being a long time member, my legislative record shows strong advocacy for Texans right to bear arms," says Representative Harper Brown. "I am proud to receive this endorsement from an organization that does such a wonderful job of fighting for every individual's right to hunt and protect their families and friends."
Along with the endorsement announcement, Rep. Harper Brown received an "A" rating for her strong record of support on Second Amendment issues in the Texas Legislature.
Rep. Harper Brown continued, "It is ever important to be vigilant with our right to bear arms as the government continues its outrageous overreach. When we cease to be diligent in maintaining our rights as dictated by the Constitution, that is when big government liberals will take them away."
Known for political defense of Second Amendment rights, the NRA is also the premier organization for firearms education.
